Mindfulness offers a different way of relating to our life and experiences, and can help us discover more pleasure in small or unexpected moments, and greater freedom to deal with the struggles and stresses of life in a calm and constructive way.
The Workshop is an ideal way of getting a “taste” of what Mindfulness is about. During the Workshop you will be given more information. We will practice some simple mindfulness meditation and gentle mindful movement, with clear guidance from the teachers. We will also do a few basic exercises to experience mindfulness in daily life, and practice short mindfulness exercises which you will be able to do for yourself in your everyday life. You can do this course as a stand-alone, or as an introduction before you decide whether to take part in an 8 week MBSR/MBCT or 8 week Mindfulness for Wellbeing course.
