Jazz: Steve Tayton & the Graham Dent Trio

3rd Sunday jazz this month features saxophonist Steve Tayton with the Graham Dent Trio.

Back in the 1970s Steve and Graham formed a close jazz collaboration and played in several jazz and fusion bands together.

Steve has an engaging, fluid, free-wheeling style on sax and is equally at home playing bebop, modern jazz and jazz rock.

He has published several books including a study of Stan Getz solos, and the music scores of original compositions for saxophone quartets. He currently lives in Dorset and continues to compose and perform with a variety of musicians.
