Originally created to accompany the acclaimed play The Last Matron at Rook Lane Chapel earlier this year, this exhibition charts the history of Keyford Asylum from its opening in the early nineteenth century to its demise in the middle of the twentieth.
The exhibition runs throughout the Local History Festival, but for today only, curator Jayne Sadgrove will give a talk about its creation and reveal some of the stories behind its residents, staff and trustees.
NOT TO BE MISSED.
