Dying Matters is a safe and welcoming space to explore personal experiences of dying, grief, and loss. There is no pressure to share—simply come to listen, reflect, or speak if you feel moved to, without judgment or the need to ‘fix’ each other’s feelings.
We recognise that loss takes many forms and welcome those grieving not only the death of a loved one but also the loss of a homeland, pet, job, relationship, health, or any other significant change. Whether your grief is recent or from long ago, this space allows you to acknowledge and express it in your own way. Grief is complex, and all emotions are valid and welcome here.
As part of the Frome Kindness Festival, this event highlights the power of kindness in grief—through deep listening, shared understanding, and compassionate presence. Dying Matters runs in Frome on the second Thursday of every month—this is an opportunity to experience it for the first time.
