Join us for a welcoming and informal day dedicated to navigating grief, connection, and support. Whether you are experiencing loss yourself or want to learn how to support others, you are invited to participate in as much or as little of the day as it feels right for you.
This event is part of the Frome Kindness Festival and highlights the power of kindness in grief—through listening, sharing, and simply being present for one another. Enjoy our cosy ‘sitting room’ space, where it’s okay to grieve or talk about grief in whatever way feels right for you.
🔹 12:00 PM – Walking Beside Grief A workshop with counsellor Melina Robinson on how to support anyone with grief and loss.
🔹 1:00 PM – A Grief-Friendly Lunch A relaxed lunch with good food, gentle live music from Sinnober, and the chance to connect with local grief support organisations. Browse grief-related books from Winstone’s Hunting Raven Books.
🔹 2:00 – Frome Mayor Andy Jones officially launches the Frome Grief Network. All are welcome, no need to book.
🔹 2:15 PM – Stories of Life & Loss A heartfelt conversation with three local people about their personal experiences of grief, facilitated by Stuart Dalton.
🔹 3:45 PM – Dying Matters: Grief Listening Circle A safe and supportive space to share or simply listen, with Neil Croom, who works locally as a Therapeutic Coach and trainee Art Psychotherapist Melanie Dalton.
