Light & Love – Virtual Remembrance Service

We warmly invite you to be part of the ‘Light and Love’ virtual event: a beautiful way to celebrate the lives of those we hold close to our hearts and miss dearly in the lead up to the festive season, as we come together for this service of remembrance, open to all faiths and none.

We know for many families, it is impossible to all gather in one place at one time, and we hope that joining us from the comfort of your home and watching the a pre-recorded service altogether from the RUH Spiritual Care Centre, we will make it possible for every family to share in the uplifting event.

Whether your loved one was cared for at the RUH or elsewhere, we understand that this time of year can be very difficult and we would like you to join as a community to take time to reflect and remember our loved ones together.

This annual celebration of life is also a way to support the RUH to continue to provide compassionate care to patients and their families: your gift donated to the Butterfly Fund will help provide the little things that make a big difference to caring for our patients nearing End of Life.

During the service, your dedication in the name of your loved one will be honoured and a compassionate heart / star will be placed on the tree of ‘Light and Love’ to shine throughout December in the Spiritual Care Centre.

The service will be available to watch online anytime between 11am and 7pm on Monday 6th December 2021.
