Lino Printing Mothers Day Cards

Join us for an introduction to the world of lino printmaking with wonderful local artist Tonia Gunstone. This 3 hour workshop is ideal for beginners and we will provide all the necessary instruction and materials to create your own hand-printed Mother’s Day card. After designing your image, you will then transfer it onto the lino block, cut away the chosen areas before printing the image onto an A6 card. You will print one card each and you can take your lino block home so you can carry on printing your design as much as you like.We thought this would be a beautifully thoughtful gift for Mothers Day (Sunday 31st March) or simply let your creative juices flow to create any one of a kind card design.

PLEASE NOTE:
This is a beginner’s level, introduction to lino printing so no experience is necessary. All materials are included within the price of the ticket. It may get a little messy with the printing ink so please wear an old top or bring an apron. During this workshop you will be using sharp tools, you will be instructed on how to use these but please be aware that you are attending this workshop at your own risk.
