An Introduction to making Sauerkraut and other Fermented Vegetables.
For our first session we’ll be getting to grips with making Fermented food.
Storing food in this way is not only a great way to use up a ‘glut’ of veggies from your garden/allotment/the community fridge, but also has numerous benefits for your health.
We’ve created this session with Zac, of Froglife Frome. Zac runs brilliant nature connection sessions here in Frome and is a member of the Edventure Start-Up Alumini as well as a passionate home grower and cook.
Make:Shed is a weekly creative workshop space for young adults aged 18-35(ish) from Frome and the surrounding area. See all upcoming sessions here or follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates.
You can book a ticket via eventbrite, or alternatively contact us via FB messenger or on 07434 667 373.
This is a tutor-led MAKE: Shed session, funded by Somerset Skills and Learning. It is free for Somerset residents – we’ll just need you to complete a few forms for our funders.
