Come along to our weekly workshop space to connect and create. We’ll teach you to make beautiful handmade paper from the stuff that usually ends up in your recycling bin! Join us and we’ll guide you through the process from start to finish.
You can book a ticket via eventbrite, or alternatively contact us via FB messenger or on 07434 667 373.
Make:Shed is a weekly workshop space for local young adults aged 18-35(ish) to connect and create. This session is a tutor-led session funded by Somerset Skills and Learning, it is free for Somerset residents, we’ll just need you to complete a few forms for our funders.
This term, we are focussing on re-using and upcycling – from making beeswax wraps from old cotton t-shirts, to making mexican tin art from old foil trays. We also run fortnightly open sessions with a new project on the go every week that you can join in with. See all upcoming sessions here or follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates.
Tutor: Cassie Morris
Cassie is the Programmes Lead for Make:Shed and Routes. She is passionate about re-using/reimagining and upcycling items that could otherwise be heading for landfill and reducing waste more generally, making instead of buying, as well as bringing people together to inspire creativity, share skills, build confidence and improve wellbeing.
