Mark Lewis Heavenor

Mark Lewis Heavenor is a Scottish songwriter, composer, and guitarist, currently based between Scotland and southwest England.

His music is at heart deeply melodic and lyrical yet is held within the angular and fluid expressions of his guitar style: one that is based on his love of flamenco and his background in Americana folk.

His music takes clear dynamic cues from the junkyard found-sound blooms of Tom Waits and the rich ensemble arrangements of Feist and Grizzly Bear records. It is also deeply spiritual in its themes and Heavenor is unabashed in expressing so.
