De-mystify the zip!
While learning a useful skill – make something to be proud of!
We’ll look at different types of zips and application methods.
Aliss will guide you through each stage with your sewing machine to make your new item.
You get a chance to practice your skills, use a zipper foot, pin a zip onto your fabric and make a purse or small gadget case, you’ve the option to add lining or appliqué to personalise your purse!
You’ll need: 0.25m medium weight cotton fabric + optional lining, 18cm-25cm zip, thread and your sewing toolkit.
Borrow a sewing machine for a small hire fee of £2 – please email in advance.
