Photo|Frome – Paul Seawright

Paul Seawright is a Professor of Photography and Executive Dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Ulster. His photographs are held in many museum collections across the world. ‘Sectarian Murder’, featured at Photo|Frome, revisits the sites of Sectarian attacks during ‘troubles’ close to where Paul grew up in Belfast. The texts with the images are from newspaper reports at the time and document the murders of innocent civilians, killed for their perceived religion.
