An evening with one of Britain’s most respected cycling journalists, author Laura Laker, as she explores the potential for a national network of cycling infrastructure and dares to imagine a world where we are less reliant on the motor car.
She will be discussing her book, Potholes and Pavements: A Bumpy Ride on Britain’s National Cycle Network, and what she learnt about our options for travelling in a greener and more joyful way. Since its publication, the book has been picked up by the Secretary of State for Transport Louise Haigh, and inspired many people to dream of a future where we can travel by bike safely and happily.
