When the Book of Common Prayer was imposed on the nation in 1662, Non-conformity flourished in Fromeand in the 19th century the Anglican congregation was outnumbered by Non Conformists to a factor of 4 to 1.

The walk explores the religious buildings in the west section of town and is accessible, but steep in places
