ROOTS SESSIONS – JON AMOR PLUS GUEST SUPPORT IAN LYNN PALMER

One of the finest song writing talents in the British Blues scene today. Jon ruled the Blues scene in the late nineties as guitarist in ‘The Hoax’, a band that released four critically acclaimed albums, won numerous awards and toured extensively in the UK, Europe & North America. Currently performing dates across the Uk with the Jon Amor Blues Group. Drawing inspiration from the Blues greats of the past like Muddy Waters and ‘Howlin’ Wolf, as well as more contemporary acts like Black Keys and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, the group’s sound is powerful, raw and uncompromising. Ian Lynn Palmer is a Singer Song/Writer from Newport South Wales. Americana Country Folk with a hint of blues, his influences range from Bruce Springsteen ,Bob Dylan to Johnny Cash, Neil Young and even Nick Cave. A self taught musician playing guitar, harmonica ,banjo and ukulele; writing songs about his life experiences and observations; all led to Ian becoming noticed and he was nominated for Best Original Song and Best Male artist at the Love Live Music Awards 2017 .
