Seedy Lunchtime Social

Pack up your sandwiches and join us on your lunch break for a ‘working’ lunch of seed sorting, light pottering, and gardening chatter and gossip (just where does Monty Don buy his red socks?).

The Frome Seed Library Garden is a new community garden for everyone, designed by local school children and maintained by the library’s under-5s gardening club, Sprouts. We want as many people as possible to help us to continue to turn an unloved corner of Frome into a haven for wildlife and seed saving. We’ve started strong, collecting fantastic design ideas from 6 local primary schools, but we need your help to bring their vision to life. No gardening experience is needed, tools and biscuits provided.

This is a free drop-in session: just pop along and stay for as little, or as long, as you like.

Please feel free to bring along your own lunch (we’ll have tables and chairs set up). Prizes for the best lunchbox.

We will be outside so dress accordingly (and pray for sun!).
