The past two years have been stressful for many of us, whether it’s due to being isolated, working from home, home-schooling, the illness of ourselves or our loved ones, or any of the usual daily stresses. This is often compounded by putting others’ needs above our own. In this interactive workshop we will look at how you can give kindness and compassion to yourself, and learn how self-compassion can be a powerful resource in difficult times.
One of the Kindness Festival’s Self-Care Lunchtimes, this session is suitable for everyone. However, if you are currently experiencing severe mental health problems, please check first with your doctor or mental health worker whether participation is advisable.
Eva qualified as a Mindful Self-Compassion teacher with pioneers Kristin Neff and Chris Germer, holds an MSc in teaching mindfulness, and has trained with other secular and Buddhist compassion teachers such as Paul Gilbert, Frits Koster and Tanya Singer.
