Learn how to sew in a small group under the guidance of a professional tutor. If you haven’t used a sewing machine before or need a refresher, then this is the course for you! You’ll start with the basics, how to thread a machine, fill a bobbin and start sewing stitches. You’ll then learn how to change the needle and feet for different purposes; sew a few different seams, neaten edges and turn up hems.
The following classes incorporate new skills and you’ll make something to take home each week – a cushion, drawstring bag, bunting and more! Techniques to learn include attaching bias binding, inserting zips & creating buttonholes.
