South West Festival Chorus – Elgar, The Dream of Gerontius

The outstanding South West Festival Chorus will be performing Elgar’s glorious choral work, The Dream of Gerontius.

Telling the story of a soul’s journey to Heaven, in which he is guided by his Guardian Angel, three outstanding soloists will be accompanied by Frome Symphony Orchestra, under charismatic conductor Jason Thornton.

South West Festival Chorus last performed this wonderful choral work in 2009 in Wells Cathedral and then in Beijing and Shanghai, all to great acclaim, so this revival is concert not to be missed.
