Spend a morning foraging with us identifying this season’s detox delectables and spend the afternoon capturing the essence of spring. Take home goodies you will be able to enjoy through the coming months, helping your body to attune to the season.
More and more of us are needing to nurture our innate intuitions as creatures of nature. Tasha who has been foraging for over 15 years holds space for you to connect with the plants of spring and tune to their subtleties and unique communications about their health benefits and uses.
In this workshop you will spend the morning walking, tasting, and smelling the land’s gifts, learning the plants, barks, blossoms, and catkins of spring; you will harvest your own ingredients to preserve and use in the afternoon.
Research is showing that even small amounts of wild food can greatly increase the gut microbiome and energy levels, foraging regularly can be important for mental health or provide us with a spiritual connection point with the added bonus of wild delights!
In this particular workshop, we will incorporate our wild greens for a mezze-style lunch and learn to make, wild ferment soda, foragers’ hand cream, and wild nutrient salt. These activities can add such pleasure to life in quiet ways and the knowledge and deep love of these practices is what we share with you in this day-long workshop, skills that you will carry with you forever and be able to share with your loved ones and community.
