This workshop is ideal for those who have always wanted to decorate cupcakes to look professional and to extend their knowledge of the craft. You will have the opportunity to develop your creative flair and develop your artistic style in decorating cupcakes using different sugar mediums and buttercream. You will learn how to make hydrangeas, roses, bows and pearls in modelling paste/flower paste, using cutters and freehand. How to fill and level cupcakes with jam and buttercream. Create smooth domed tops with sugar paste. Emboss designs and highlight with pearlised edible dusts/spray. Pipe a rose effect design using buttercream. Use royal icing to pipe tidy detail to finish your design. At the end of this workshop you will have a good understanding of the different sugar mediums and techniques to create various decorative cupcakes.
This is a one day workshop. Concession fee is £18 (if in receipt of a qualifying benefit).
