Swing Dance evening plus Beginners Taster Class

Come and join us for an evening of swing dancing, all levels welcome! There will also be a live swing band, so you can always come along and see if you fancy having a go. We will also have a beginners taster class for 30 minutes.

7.30pm – beginners taster class
This is a drop in class for beginners and those wanting to recap what they’ve learnt. You’ll be guided through some of the fundaments of Lindy Hop, so you’ll be able shimmy your way onto the dance floor after. Each month we will be teaching something slightly different. No previous dance experience necessary, and all levels are welcome.

8.30pm – Ellie Moonshine & The Prohibition Band

Swing Time Frome’s monthly swing dance evening, the last Thursday of every month, will start up again in September after a summer break. We’ll be welcoming the fabulous live swing band Ellie Moonshine & The Prohibition Band! They’ve been touring around the country this past year and are not to be missed.

Swing dancing is very sociable and friendly – all levels dance with each other and the focus is on having fun, not on what you know. So don your largest smile and head our way!

No need to book, just drop in. No partner necessary.

Come dressed to impress, or dressed without stress! Anything goes. Shoes with a smooth flat sole are ideal.
