Swing Dance Evening & Taster Class

Our first swing dance evening of 2019! We’ll set you off with a ‘taster’ class at 7.30pm to get you in the mood and show you some simple Lindy Hop moves. This will be followed by an evening of swing music from our swing DJ, and of course more swing dancing! All levels and ages welcome.
No need to book, no partner needed, just drop in.
£5 on the door.
The ‘Taster’ Class, 7.30pm-8.15pm:
This is a drop in class for beginners, anyone and everyone. You’ll be guided through some of the fundaments of Lindy Hop, so you’ll be able to shimmy your way onto the dance floor after. Each month we will be teaching something slightly different. No previous dance experience necessary, and all levels are welcome.
The Social Dancing, 8.30-10.30pm:
Vintage swing tunes from our DJ to round off the evening.
The Venue:
We’ll be dancing at 23 Bath Street which has a great open space for dancing on the ground floor. The bar will be serving as usual.
What to Wear:
Flat shoes that have a smooth sole are ideal, as they will help you to move around more easily.
