TELLISFORD MILL TOUR

Tellisford pre-Domesday mill site was idle from 1912 until January 2007, when a new turbine began generating renewable energy. This run-off-river micro-hydro power plant exports electricity to the grid, producing 300,000 KWh last year. The tour will show the turbine, its setting and a film of the mill’s development.
