The Frukes Festival Party

“The Frukes” is a loose collective of forgotten souls who bring meaning to their lives by the plucking of small instruments.

Like monkeys in a room full of typewriters, this sometimes results in something beautiful: actual songs. With a sense of wonder, audiences have been known to recognise some of them.

Almost unable to perform without the use of alcohol and strange dancing, The Frukes, who formed from an idea in a room above a pub 7 years ago, have been able to raise many thousands of pounds for charity.

Their travels have taken them from Frome to Edinburgh Festival via Glastonbury and Westbury.
