When a young romance is parted by the powers that be, life and death prove to be the mysterious ultimate executors of fate. ‘The Holland Handkerchief’ resonates timelessly as a tale of love, loyalty, and honour; as chilling and curious now as when it was created in 1711. Folk music and stagework intertwine in this magical retelling from new theatre company Kerchief Theatre.
