Tom’s fingerpicking resonator slide playing stems from early era traditional delta blues with strong Mississippi mountain folk influences. His repertoire explores interpretations of various styles including Bukka White, Fred McDowell and R.L Burnside.
Martin has established himself as a creative, versatile and hardworking musician, Equally at home on guitar playing rock, blues, swing and jazz, Martin has worked with many outstanding musicians who have inspired his love of many diverse music styles including Jazz, folk, Americana, and experimental pop to name just a few.
Keeping the old blues alive! Delta Blues, Country blues, Bottleneck Blues.. whatever you want to call it: Andrew Bazeley is your man for playing it, singing it, talking about it, writing about it, teaching it. Andrew’s skill at conveying the sound and the spirit of the old acoustic blues has drawn gasps of admiration wherever he plays: whether it’s the Son House/Charley Patton slide style (played on an authentic 1929 National) or the melodic fingerpicking style of players like Willie McTell and Robert Johnson (on his 1918 Gibson)
