The Trojan War: Myth or History

Returning to Frome after his sell-out talk in 2016, Professor Michael Wood will be appearing on the opening night of this year’s Festival. One of the UK’s best loved historians and broadcasters, and author of numerous popular history books including ‘In the footsteps of Alexander the Great’, ‘In Search of Shakespeare’ and ‘The Story of England’, he will take us on a compelling and fascinating journey examining the myth and history of the Trojan War. After the lecture there will be a book signing session and a selection of his books will be on sale.
