The Winter’s Tale with Judi Dench

The Winter’s Tale is the first of a new season of Kenneth Branagh Theatre Live Productions broadcast from London’s Garrick Theatre. Shakespeare’s timeless tragicomedy of obsessions and redemption is reimagined in this new co-production directed by Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh. King Leontes appears to have everything: wealth, power, a loving family and friends, but sexual jealousy sets in motion a chain of events with tragic consequences. The Winter’s Tale stars a remarkable group of actors, featuring Judi Dench as Paulina, Tom Bateman (Florizel), Jessie Buckley (Perdita), Hadley Fraser (Polixenes), Miranda Raison (Hermione) and Kenneth Branagh as Leontes.
