Trio Paradis Café Concert: The English Romantics

Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open from c12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes and listen to live music. It’s £3.50 for a cake and a drink.

May’s programme is a collection of beautiful music by English composers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, among them Charles Villiers Stanford, Ernest Austin and Alice Verne-Bredt.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance – or rather, exit(!) – is by donation. There’s no need to book, just turn up – maybe bring a cushion for the pew.
