Trio Paradis: Daughters of the Muse

Trio Paradis’ popular Palm Court concerts take place on the first Wednesday lunchtime of every month. A chance to enjoy a wide variety of musical styles, brought together in a themed programme, with informal cafe-style seating. Free entry with a retiring collection. Refreshments on sale from 12.45pm.

March’s theme is ‘Daughters of the Muse’: music by women composers, including Amy Beach (finale from Trio), Mel Bonis (Matin & Soir), Rebecca Clarke, Lili Boulanger and other female composers, many of whose compositions have been unjustly neglected. You will also find out some details of their often fascinating lives.
