Trio Paradis: Fantasies, Serenades & Scherzos

Trio Paradis play a monthly cafe concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.

May’s programme is a collection of mostly Romantic music inspired by love and flights of fancy, from Schumann’s Fantasiestucke op.88 to short pieces by Schubert, Godard, Bridge and others.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance is free with pay-what-you-feel donation invited. Refreshments – tea, coffee & home-made cakes – available in the café half an hour before the concert. No need to book, just turn up – maybe bring a cushion for the pew!
