Trio Paradis: Iberia!

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Tim Robb – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) return to the Bennett Centre for their 2020 series of palm court trio concerts on the first Wednesday lunchtime of each month (February-December). February’s concert brings some much-needed sunshine, with a variety of Spanish music, including Habaneras, Sevillanas and Boleros by composers such as de Falla, Granados, Albeniz… and some very convincing ‘Spanish’ music by French and Russian composers: Bizet, Ravel and Glazunov.
The concert lasts about 45 minutes and is suitable for all ages, including families. Refreshments on sale from 12.45pm, cafe-style seating and informal atmosphere. Entrance is by donation with a retiring collection.
