Trio Paradis: Invitation to the Dance

The second in a new series of lunchtime concerts performed by Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Lisa Betteridge – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) at Christchurch, at 1.45pm on the first Thursday of every month. Entrance to the concerts is by donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments (usually including home-made cakes) on sale from 1.30pm. The concert lasts about 50 minutes.

October’s programme includes a variety of music inspired by dance forms, including Bolero, Waltz, Rumba, Tango… with music by Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Dvorak and others.
