Weylands Community Tree Planting and Activities Day

Tree Planting Volunteer and Activities day by the Weylands cycle path. (Head North from The Otherside or Welshmill and you’ll find Weylands – a flat, grasses green space leading down towards tree-lined riverbanks on the way to Whatcombe fields).

Come join Shared Earth Learning and The Three Group Frome down by the river to help plant hawthorns, hazels, elder, guelder rose, willows, dogwoods and many other species to benefit our local area.

Foraging Walk – learn some of the edible plants you can harvest with Pavla from Hejro.
Medicinal uses of trees – The Centre for Community Herbalism will be showing us some of the healing properties of these trees.
