Woodcut course

Woodcut is a relief printing technique which involves gouging images into the surface of a block of wood. The process is similar to linocut except there is an added wood grain texture. Create big bold images up to A1 size on our Harrild & Sons relief printing press from 1905.

This two day course is suitable for beginners or can be tailored to experience printmakers wanting to improve their skills. Gain hands on experience creating your own prints with guidance from a highly skilled printmaker.
