To fans of UK punk Henry Cluney, founding member of Stiff Little Fingers, will need no introduction. Along with the likes of The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Damned, Buzzcocks and Sham 69, Stiff Little Fingers were there at the start of the punk rock movement in the 1970s.
Henry set up XSLF with former SLF drummer Jim Reilly to play the earlier classics of SLF to fans world-wide. Henry, Jim and bass player Ave Tsarion also started to record and release their own music.
Following medical advice, Reilly was forced to leave the band. Drumming duties are now taken care of by Glenn Kings (also drummer for legendary Belfast band The Defects) and XSLF continue to bring fans a set of greats from SLF’s first three albums as well as their own originals.
