Ever wondered why New Year’s resolutions don’t tend to work? Are you tired of starting each year with the same “New Year, New Me” mantra, only to find yourself eating your own words – along with the chocolate you banned yourself from – by mid-January? Come along to this 4 week Yin Yoga course to start the New Year the right way for you. Make peace with the year gone by and set some meaningful intentions for the year ahead.
What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a still and mindful floor-based yoga practice which works for the deep, connective tissues in the body to increase circulation in the joints, gradually improve flexibility and cultivate awareness of inner silence. It offers you a chance to slow down in your busy world and (re)connect with yourself.
Who are these classes for?
The classes are 60 minutes long and they are run as a 4 week course around a set theme, but anyone can join at anytime and there is no obligation to attend all 4 weeks of a course. The theme for this course is: New Year Intentions.
What should I bring?
Please wear lose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water if you can. If you don’t have a mat, there are a few spare ones available to borrow on a first come, first serve basis. Please drop Laura a message to reserve one. Bolsters, blocks, bricks and blankets will be provided free of charge.
