Frome chosen by Sunday Times as top Somerset town

Frome has once again been chosen as one of the best places to live in the UK by the Sunday Times in their annual feature published this week.

Following on from last year’s acclaim as Best Places to Live regional winner, our town has stayed at the top and this year has been selected as Somerset’s best place to live.

The article highlights the variety of independent shops, many markets and historical buildings as reasons to love Frome. As well as the town’s unique community spirit, thanks to projects and schemes like the Community Fridge.

The Frome Festival is also recognised as a big draw with its packed programme of art, music, history and nature, alongside the family-run cinema, the Black Swan arts centre and, of course, the Cheese & Grain.
