It’s not a threat, promise! The Christmas holidays are fast approaching (or already here, for some). Looking to fill your calendars this festive season? Then look no further. Every Tuesday: Baby Boogie
Apart from a short break for Christmas, Baby Boogie at the Library is a fun-filled half an hour session with stories, rhymes, and an opportunity to meet new parents. Baby Boogie carries on into the New Year.
Every Tuesday & Thursday: Toddler Time
Again with a short break at Christmas, head to the Library with your little one for Toddler Time. Appropriate for children aged 1-3, there will be songs and stories and probably rather a lot of noise! Toddler Time also carries on into the New Year.
Shows throughout December: The Little Match Girl
They’re selling like hot cakes – grab some tickets for this lovely show, suitable for adults and brave children alike. You can expect music, puppetry, magic and a great story to be enjoyed by all. Be quick, only two shows left with tickets available at the Lucky Chance.

Only four shows left with tickets available! Suitable for children aged 3 and above, this enchanting and brilliant puppet show brings a beloved Hans Christian Andersen Tale to life. Also enjoy the wonderful setting of Wise Children’s home in Frome, the Lucky Chance.
Until Christmas Eve: Christmas on the Farm with Santa’s Grotto
Visit Palette & Pasture this December for oodles of Christmas fun. See their beautiful real Nordic sleigh, choose gifts from the toy shop, stroll around the farm to see the animals in their cosy winter housing, make some reindeer food, plant a magical candy cane and even pay the big man himself a visit.
20th December: Wolf Witch Giant Fairy
Join Little Bulb’s ragtag band of wild musicians as they guide all the family through this famous tale with new twists, turns, magic and song. At the Merlin Theatre!
21st December: 23 Family Hangout Christmas Party
The last family hangout at 23 Bath Street 🙁 but there will be Christmas tunes, mulled wine and nibbles, free arts and crafts, Grinch corner for naughty elves, and more to be announced.
22nd December: Festive Raving Rascals
Bass Beatz are bringing the first family-friendly 360 rave to Frome with their Christmas edition of Raving Rascals. Get your tix now for hours of fun, DJs, a Santa meet and greet, face painting and more, all at Rook Lane Chapel. Oh, and its from 3pm – 6pm – slightly more sociable hours than your average rave!
23rd December: Merry Christmas themed Musical Theatre Workshop
Danceworks are putting on their Christmas musical theatre workshop for all children reception age and over. There’s the opportunity to learn Christmas songs and dance moves, and Christmas fancy dress strongly advised, just make sure you have the right dancing shoes.
